Also, we've already gotten plenty of e-mails about our usage of the word “data” and plenty of contradictory opinions as to which of the following our survey question should ask, in order to be grammatically correct:

• “What year were you born?”
• “What year were you born in?”
• “In what year were you born?”

So you can skip those e-mails, thanks! (And note that, since we're involved with measuring language, we're far more likely to be descriptivist than prescriptivist.)
